On April 9, 2023, the community of the Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the city of Shepetivka prayed on the street.
The community of the UOC Cathedral in honor of the Holy Archangel of God Michael prayed near their church, earlier seized by the radicals.
The liturgy on the feast of the Lord's Entry into Jerusalem was officiated by Metropolitan Eusebiy of Shepetivka and Slavuta in concelebration of the clergy of the city.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that a crowd seized the UOC Cathedral in Shepetivka.
Recall that on May 7, at the initiative of Vitaliy Buzyl, the mayor of Shepetivka, supporters of the OCU for the first time came to St. Michael's Cathedral and demanded that it be handed over to the OCU, while the city authorities began to collect signatures from state employees in order to take the cathedral away from the UOC.
On April 8, it became known that Shepetivka authorities had taken away the land plots for temples from the UOC.
