On 26 April 2023, activists brought and placed two three-meter vertical banners near the entrance to the Lower Lavra: with "crucifiers" and heroes of Ukraine.

The "enemy" banner shows a cross with the inscription “They are crucifying Ukraine", as well as two dozen politicians, businessmen and clergymen led by Putin. The authors included the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Pavel, Ihor Kolomoisky, Dmytro Gordon, Viktoria Kokhanovska, Vasyl Lomachenko, Oleksiy Arestovych and others among the "crucifiers" of Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelensky with the Constitution is in the centre of the "heroic" board with the inscription "Christ is risen – Ukraine will be risen too", framed by Sviatoslav Shevchuk and Serhiy Dumenko. Above are NATO President Jens Stoltenberg, radical Yevhen Karas, journalist Yanina Sokolova, Polish President Andrzej Duda, former Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, actor Sean Penn and others.

In an interview with Channel 5, one of the organisers of the performance said that by installing the boards the authors "wanted to protect their identity and are protecting it". According to him, "We have a church in our midst that inspires those who came here from there and who asked them to do so. This is a crime. And we with these banners want to show everyone to decide which side they are on."

As earlier reported, a Uniate came to the Lavra with a flag to "burn those devils".
