The Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration has not seen signatures for the transfer of the Kamyanets-Podilskyy cathedral to the OCU. This is stated in the material of the Kamyanets-Podilskyi TV company.

A TV reporter said that the decision on the transition has not yet been made, because "in a month the initiative group has not submitted a package of documents to the Regional Military Administration".

The material reminded that a large number of people gathered near the cathedral on 8 April, which was also organized by the local authorities, that they collected about 4,000 signatures for the transfer of the cathedral and that the city mayor's advisor Yaroslav Klizub promised to submit these documents to the RMA the very next day.

Journalists said that in response to an enquiry by the Kamyanets-Podilskyi TVC, the RMA said that as of April 28, they had not received any documents regarding the transfer of the cathedral. The same was confirmed to the journalists on May 1 by the initiative group itself.

As earlier reported, from 8 to 10 April 2023, unknown people made an attempted seizure of the UOC cathedral in Kamyanets-Podilskyi.
