Administrator of UOC parishes abroad visits communities in Switzerland

From April 28 to May 2, 2023, the administrator of the parishes of the UOC abroad, Bishop Veniamin of Boyarka, visited communities in Switzerland, the DECR website reports. The trip took place with the blessing of His Beatitude Onuphry.

The bishop officiated worship in the parishes of the UOC in Thun, Bern, Fribourg and Neuchâtel. He was concelebrated by the rectors of the UOC communities from other cities in Switzerland, as well as Germany.

In addition, Bishop Veniamin attended a concert in Bern, which was given for the Ukrainian refugees in Switzerland by the cleric of the Kyiv diocese, Archpriest Oleksandr Klymenko. The concert was attended by both Ukrainians and Swiss.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that more than 40 foreign parishes of the UOC in 15 European countries celebrated Easter.
