The head of the OCU Epiphany Dumenko asked the Ukrainian authorities to protect those parishes that decided to “move” to his religious structure, reports the cbn.com.ua edition.

According to Dumenko, after receiving the Tomos, several hundred parishes transferred to the OCU. However, he complained, after the election of the new government, this process stopped, which "is also facilitated by some officials".

“We are not asking the authorities to help us. We ask them to defend the choice of those believers who have decided to go to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine,” Epiphany said.

The head of the OCU is convinced that soon the process of the “transition” of parishes to the OCU will move again.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Epiphany called on the Belarusians to ask the Phanar for their Tomos.
