Dumenko awards Pereyaslav mayor who facilitated seizures of UOC temples

On June 15, 2023, Serhiy Dumenko received at his residence the mayor of Pereyaslav, Vyacheslav Saulko, who assisted in the seizures of several UOC temples in the city. The meeting was reported on the OCU website.
Epifaniy awarded Saulko with the OCU order and discussed with him "the importance of the spiritual component in the context of the ongoing full-scale Russian invasion and popularization of our true ancient history".
Dumenko informed the mayor of Pereyaslav that "the enemy constantly attempts to appropriate our values – territories, history, Church, and culture. Therefore, to win this war, we need to counter the invaders on all fronts".
As reported, Vedmak from the OCU took control of the Trinity Church of the UOC in Pereyaslav.
