John Stowe, a Catholic bishop in Lexington, Kentucky, requests the parishes of his diocese to promote the so-called "LGBT ministry" in their weekly parish bulletins, according to the Complicit Slergy.
The diocesan Office for Peace and Justice, headed by the bishop, issued a statement, according to which "we are an affirming ministry that celebrates and defends the dignity of every LGBT person."
“Every LGBT person is called to ministry in the church. What gifts do you have to share? Do you know someone who is a member of the LGBT community? Invite them to join our ministry and tell them that we need the gifts they have to share!” the appeal says.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the German RCC is developing a document on "different sexual orientations of people".
