On June 29, 2023, in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, an unidentified person attacked human rights activist Viktoria Kokhanovska by spraying gas in her face. This happened during the live broadcast of Kokhanovska on Facebook.

The bandit was immediately detained by one of the men who was near the Lavra. He handed him over to the police officers who came to the rescue and said he had a gas canister in his hands.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that round-the-clock house arrest was lifted from Kokhanovska.
