People's Deputy of Ukraine Artem Dmytruk said that all cases of the seizure of the temples of the UOC will be investigated, regardless of the purpose and desire of citizens who violate the law, and those responsible will be punished. He told the UOJ about this.
Commenting on the recent raids of UOC churches in the regions, Dmytruk urged Ukrainians not to commit rash actions and not to shake the situation in the country.
The MP also stated that after the end of the war, each case of violation of the rights of citizens will be considered, investigated and appropriate decisions will be made.
“I urge everyone not to take drastic and thoughtless actions, not to shake up the situation in the country, and to postpone high-profile issues until our victory, when it will be possible to slowly figure it out and make an informed decision on each issue. Too much is now being decided on the battlefields to spend forces and resources on issues that are not included in the range of military and humanitarian tasks,” he said.
As the UOJ reported, the mayor of Krasyliv stated that the authorities did not have the right to ban the UOC, and the local communities themselves do not want to join the OCU.
We also wrote that the head of the DESS said that local city councils do not have the authority to prohibit the activities of the UOC in the regions.
