A member of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Natalia, told a reporter why she comes to the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra every day.
Natalia, a member of the Lavra community, explained why she comes to the Lavra every day: "I want to support the monks. I can't leave them."
"I have personally decided that I will be here as long as I can, until the end, with them. This is the only thing worth holding onto: the monks' prayers," said the defender of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
She also mentioned that when she observes provocations, they deeply sadden her. According to her, what is happening near the Lavra on behalf of the activists is just ordinary, petty, and unseemly hooliganism.
"I can't imagine myself shouting at elderly people, shouting at the clergy, shouting at people who are doing something for our country," Natalia said.
As earlier reported, during the prayer standing near the Lavra, a believer expressed confidence that God will defeat the evil happening in the country.
