On December 2, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal announced that he would not extend the "weekend quarantine".
From this day on, at weekends and on weekdays, quarantine restrictions of the orange zone are in effect throughout Ukraine, reports the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.
The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy clarified that under the current restrictions, it is allowed "to conduct cultural and religious events in which up to 20 people take part".
As reported, the “weekend quarantine” was in effect from November 14, 2020. The measures were meant to contain the spread of the coronavirus as authorities said.
As the UOJ wrote earlier, the “weekend quarantine” affected the churches of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
