Archpriest Nikolai Danilevich, spokesman of the UOC, commented on the allegations of the representative of the OCU that the believers of the canonical Church want to "take away" their own church. The priest wrote about this in his telegram channel.
“Today a member of the OCU in Transcarpathia Varsonofiy (aka FB Vladimir Rudnik) ventilated on Facebook that the Khust Diocese of the UOC wants to seize the OCU temple in the village of Dilove, Rakhiv district, on January 5,” the priest said.
However, as Archpriest Nikolai found out, “the temple in Dilove village actually belongs to the UOC community. The UOC community is now praying there. Moreover, today Bishop Simeon of Ugolsk, vicar of Khust Metropolitan Mark, served there, "and information about this event is available on the Facebook page of the Khust Diocese of the UOC.
“How can the UOC community, which serves in its own church, seize the church from itself? What is all this falsehood, these provocative fibs, and this indignation of people on the eve of the holidays about?” wrote the spokesman of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the UOC denied the fake media about the transfer of the Ryngach village community to the OCU.
