Representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organisations thanked the USA for arms for Ukraine, reports the organisation's website.

During their visit to the USA, Ukrainian religious leaders met with Kelly Razzouk, Special Assistant to the President of the United States and White House Senior Director for democracy and human rights.

Stanislav Nosov, the AUCCRO chairman and the leader of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ukraine, told Kelly Razzouk that "the civilian population of Ukraine, including women and children, suffer daily from Russian missile attacks and kamikaze drones."

"We are grateful to the US for air defence systems and other weapons that help protect the lives of peaceful Ukrainians," Nosov stressed.

As earlier reported, the OCU assured the US that Ukraine has an unprecedented level of religious freedom.
