The OCU will perform “services” in the temples of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra according to the New Julian calendar, as reported on the Facebook page of the “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra" Reserve.

According to the press service of this state structure, such a decision was made by the head of the OCU Serhii Dumenko "at the numerous requests of parishioners".

It is reported that the new style is to be introduced on 15 November, when the Christmas fast will start in the OCU.

As earlier reported, a mufti will give a lecture on Islam in Ukraine at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
