On 15 November 2023, Anna, a participant in the prayer standing near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, called on the believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to join the daily prayer near the walls of the monastery.
In a comment to KozakTv1 Anna said that she herself tries to come to the Lavra as often as possible. "I come about twice a week, as I consider it my duty to protect the shrine," the girl said.
According to the parishioner, despite the fact that now it is impossible for believers to get to the territory of the monastery, "one should come, one should not be lazy."
"To come even for an hour is already a big thing. The more people, the better. We ask to come to the standing, which takes place near the Churches of St Sergius of Radonezh and Agapitus of the Caves,” Anna said.
She noted that the anti-church "activists" who again tried to disrupt the service near the Lavra that day "cause only pity".
"I am very sorry, sincerely sorry for them. They don't know what they are doing," Anna noted.
As reported, on 14 November 2023, the faithful of the UOC, despite heavy rain and an almost three-hour air raid, continued their prayer standing near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
