On January 2, 2024, the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church resumed their prayer standing at the walls of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, as reported by "Pershy Kozatsky".

Despite strong winds and cold weather, several dozen believers gathered near the church dedicated to the Venerable Agapitus of the Caves. Led by a priest, they recited prayers and akathists.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that, according to a parishioner of the UOC, Ksenia, God's grace helps the defenders of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra overcome difficulties.
