The Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra is planned to face a large-scale rebuilding, reports TSN. The Reserve wants to build a new St Mary Church to commemorate those who died in Mariupol. Icons in the temple will be painted on ammunition boxes.
“On the site of illegal buildings, raised by Pavel Lebed, a pantheon will be created," TSN reports.
As reported, the acting head of the Ministry of Culture Rostislav Karandeyev said that the Ministry of Culture is working on preserving monastic life in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, but it should be under the auspices of the OCU.
