Ukraine's Ombudsman: Religious situation is destabilised by Russia
Dmytro Lubinets assured that he "stands guard over the rights of believers".
On World Religion Day, Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets made a statement that the Russian Federation was engaged in destabilising the religious situation in Ukraine, as reported on Lubinets’s Telegram channel.
"The office of the Ombudsman stands guard over the rights of believers. Every citizen, regardless of their religious affiliation, has the right to security, protection and free expression of their beliefs and freedom of religion!" Lubinets assured readers, adding that "it is important for us to provide special protection for religious places, and for violation of the law one must be held accountable".
As reported, according to Lubinets, there are no violations of religious rights in Ukraine; and the UN High Commissioner, who claims this, is speaking falsehood.
