An MP of the Holos faction, Iryna Sovsun, said in an interview with the YouTube channel "No one will watch this" that the Rada Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy has not yet considered bill № 8371 on the UOC ban to prepare it for the second reading in the Parliament hall.
According to her, until the bill is not passed in the second reading and not signed by the President, the UOC continues to operate in Ukraine legally.
In addition, Sovsun said that the initiators of the UOC ban barely had enough votes for the bill to be voted in the first reading.
"It hurts me. Because it's about the political maturity of the parliamentarians," she added.
As reported, Stefanchuk expected a "serious" bill on the UOC from the Committee.
