The Pope calls for negotiations to end wars in Ukraine and Palestine

Pope Francis believes that the parties to the conflicts should "make every effort to negotiate an end to war" in Ukraine and Palestine, according to the website vaticannews.va.
The head of the Roman Catholic Church entrusted the "cause of peace" with regard to the "war-torn peoples of Ukraine and the Holy Land, Palestine, and Israel, who suffer so greatly from the horrors of war," to the intercession of Saint Joseph.
The Pope called for an end to the wars plaguing the world, emphasizing that "war is always a defeat," and for this reason, "one cannot go on in war."
"We must make every effort to negotiate an end to war," the Pope said.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Pope called on Ukraine to raise the white flag.
