An exhibition by Kherson artist Yana Holubyatnykova titled "To Hear in Order to Begin", organized by the queer-feminist charitable organization "Іnsha", has opened at the National Reserve "Sophia of Kyiv". This information is provided by the organization's Facebook page.
"Can you imagine a collaboration between a queer-feminist organization and an institution like Sophia of Kyiv? Well, I couldn't either... But my colleagues from 'Іnsha' – they are absolutely crazy. That's why this collaboration suddenly happened," notes one of the participants of the organization in the exhibition announcement.
The charitable organization's page states that it defends the rights of the LGBT community and also works on "educational, advocacy, and creative projects that contribute to the promotion of our goals and the achievement of our ideals."
As reported by the UOJ, in April 2023, the folk group "Kozatska Khorea" performed at Sophia of Kyiv at the opening of the "Sophia Deesis" exhibition, which featured icons on shell casings. The musicians posted a video on their Facebook page, where one of the performers played the trembita in front of the Royal Gates.
