The divine service was led by the Chancellor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary.

Metropolitan Anthony was co-served by the clergy of Kyiv and teachers and students of Kyiv theological schools in the priesthood.

The divine service was accompanied by the choir of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary under the direction of the choir archimandrite Leonty (Tupkalo).

After the end of the lity for the dead, Metropolitan Anthony, together with the clergy and students, laid flowers at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
