In the Verkhovna Rada, there were not enough votes to bring bill 8371, which effectively bans the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, to a vote today, July 23. MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak wrote on his Telegram channel that representatives of the Parliament's Conciliation Council are planning to block the podium.
"Well, colleagues on the Council have stated that after the first two votes on extending martial law and mobilization, they will block the podium. Due to the coalition's refusal to put the law on the Moscow Church to a vote," the deputy wrote.
In his opinion, this could last several days.
As reported by the UOJ, the MPs did not vote to include bill 8371 on the agenda.
