Military Administration of Toretsk awards a UOC cleric with a medal

The military administration of the city of Toretsk awarded Archpriest Yuriy Zarafutdinov of the Volyn Diocese with a special medal 'For the Defense of Toretsk', reports the diocese's press service.

The award ceremony took place after a church service celebrating the feast day of the Elijah Parish in the village of Borochnychi.

The priest thanked the rector of the Elijah Parish, Archpriest Volodymyr Serhiychuk, the priests, and all who continuously support the unit where he serves, for their various material and technical support.

It is reported that after the award ceremony, the clergy offered a prayer for the long life of the defenders and the people of Ukraine. "Eternal Memory" was also sung for the heroes who died in the war.

As the UOJ reported, a cleric of the Kremenchuk Diocese of the UOC was killed at the front.
