On August 5, another court hearing was held regarding the obstruction of UOC believers' access to the churches of the Upper Lavra in the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery. This was reported on the Save_Lavra Telegram channel.
Two representatives of the plaintiff's side filed a motion to postpone the hearing due to one of the lawyers being unable to attend. Additionally, a representative of the third party – the monks – also submitted such a motion.
The next hearing on this case is scheduled for September 4 at 14:30.
As the UOJ reported, the previous hearing on the Upper Lavra case was also postponed because one of the Lavra's lawyers had to attend another hearing. Representatives of the defendant's side and third parties were against the postponement.
