Cross Procession of UOC covered by 455 reps of Ukrainian and foreign media

The prayer service on the Vladimir Hill near the monument to Prince Vladimir and the Great Cross Procession of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church were covered by almost half a thousand journalists from Ukraine, Greece, Serbia, the Czech Republic and other countries, the Information Center of the UOC reports.

According to the UOC, 455 media representatives were accredited for the celebrations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in honor of the Day of the Baptism of Kievan Rus on July 27 and 28.

The Information Center reported that the festivities of the UOC on July 27-28 were covered by 12 foreign media outlets, as well as practically all central Ukrainian TV channels, electronic and print media, radio and church media. Public organizations also showed interest in the event by sending their representatives.

In total, 22 foreign journalists from 12 media outlets attended the celebrations of the UOC, including representatives of reputable international publications such as Agence France Presse, Deutsche Welle, BBC World Service and others.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the Cross Procession of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church took place in Kyiv.
