Mosiychuk: Law 8371 is the destruction of Ukrainian statehood

Former MP Ihor Mosiychuk believes that Law 8371 destroys the Ukrainian statehood. He said this in an interview with Oleksandr Shelest.

In Mosiychuk's opinion, the law “on the so-called ban of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is a law on the destruction of Ukrainian statehood on a religious basis”.

Mosiychuk is sure that Law 8371 ‘does not ban anything”, as “it is a law in the interests of politicians and for the use by politicians of Ukrainian citizens who have religious beliefs”.

“I want all viewers to know that this law does not ban the UOC, but only gives the possibility of a ban, including the UOC, which will happen, perhaps, in two years,” Mosiychuk said.

He believes that all this time “politicians will play on this and tear the country apart”.

As reported by the UOJ, political expert, philosopher and blogger Pavel Schelin believes that banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will make Ukraine's unity impossible.
