Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy discusses religious situation in region with OSCE

On August 10, 2021, the secretary of the Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy of the UOC, Archpriest Vasily Romaniuk, met with representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, reports the eparchy's press service.
The meeting took place in the office of the OSCE Mission in Ivano-Frankivsk.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the state of religious freedoms and observance of the rights of believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Carpathian region.
Earlier, in 2020, representatives of the Ivano-Frankivsk Eparchy and the OSCE Monitoring Mission discussed the situation with the seizure of UOC churches in the villages of Proboynivka and Hryniava.
