The Ternopil Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has supported a flash mob against the arrival of Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople in Ukraine.

The photographs in which believers are standing with posters "Bartholomew, do not disturb our peace", "We have our own Primate of the Church – another is not needed", etc., were posted on his Facebook page by the head of the Synodal Department for Youth Affairs of the UOC, the abbot of the Trinity Jonah Monastery in Kyiv, Archbishop Jonah of Obukhiv (Cherepanov).

“People of the Church. The Ternopil Eparchy. They know what are the fruits of Pat. Bartholomew’s ‘love’,” the priest signed the publication.

The flash mob "Bartholomew, we didn't invite you" against the arrival of the Phanar head in Ukraine, was initiated in the churches of the Zaporizhzhia Eparchy. It takes place on social networks with the hashtag # STOPVARFOLOMEY. The initiative was supported in the Odessa Eparchy, calling on all caring believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to join.

As reported, UOC believers are urged to testify to their faith before the Phanar head and come to the building of the Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv at 9:00 a.m. on August 21, 2021.
