The police confiscate posters criticizing Patriarch Bartholomew from the UOC believers near the Verkhovna Rada, reports Strana.ua.

According to Strana.ua, the police are reluctant to confiscate the posters in order to avoid conflict situations. Attempts to take away the posters provoke skirmishes between the parishioners and the police, but the situation has not yet reached the point of scuffles and clashes.

The signs read: "500 seized churches are on your conscience", "Bartholomew blesses robbers", etc.

As previously reported, UOC believers are gathering at the government quarter.
