Provocateur attempts to disrupt a church service in the Lavra

On the morning of September 22, a provocateur attempted to enter the Church of Venerable Agapitus of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, where His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry was conducting the Sunday Liturgy, according to the Save_Lavra Telegram channel.
It is reported that the man tried to disrupt the service, but the police detained him.
Later, the Telegram channel stated that the provocateur was still near the monastery, attempting to enter the church. He was found to be in possession of a cold weapon – a saber.
Around 16:00, he was finally detained and placed in an ambulance.
As previously reported, the Primate of the UOC officiated the festive liturgy at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra on the Feast of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos.
