A California startup called REMspace, specializing in technologies for sleep improvement and lucid dream management, conducted the experiment on exchanging messages through dreams, reports 3dnews.
According to the company, specially developed equipment was used to achieve this result, including a server, a certain "device", "Wi-Fi", and "sensors".
However, details on how communication between two sleeping individuals was established have not yet been disclosed. The research has also not undergone peer review by the academic scientific community.
REMspace CEO Michael Raduga stated that "just yesterday, communication through dreams seemed like science fiction. Tomorrow, it will become so commonplace that we won't be able to imagine our lives without this technology."
He is confident that such technologies "open doors for countless commercial applications, changing our understanding of communication and interaction in the world of dreams."
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Elon Musk presented the first patient who had a chip implanted in their brain.
