The organization of the conference on the theme: "Catholicism of the Church: Theological, Canonical and Historical Dimensions" was assigned by the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. It is timed to the 1970th anniversary of the Apostolic Council in Jerusalem and the 1570th anniversary of the IV Ecumenical Council.

The following issues will be discussed at the scientific and practical conference:

  3. Ecumenical Councils: historical circumstances of their convocation and principles of their work;
  4. The problem of primacy in the Ecumenical Church in the era of Ecumenical Councils;
  5. Canon 28 of the IV Ecumenical Council: theological, canonical and historical aspects;
  6. The problem of appeals against decisions of church courts in the canons of the Ecumenical Councils;
  7. Discussions on primacy in the Ecumenical Church in contemporary Orthodox theology;
