Media: In Syrian Hama, Islamist militants burned a Christmas tree

On December 23, the Christian Emergency Alliance posted a video on X showing a burning Christmas tree in the Syrian city of Hama. According to the organization, the fire was set by foreign Islamist militants affiliated with Tahrir al-Sham.

It is reported that the arson took place the day after the tree was erected.

The Christian Emergency Alliance has called for prayers for Syrian Christians.

As previously reported, militants in Syria have called on the new authorities to establish Sharia law in the country.
