Metropolis of San Francisco to Host Webinar on Building Dynamic Parish Ministries
A webinar titled “Becoming a Dynamic Parish Ministry: Approaches for Building, Engaging and Serving” will be offered by the Orthodox Parish Leadership (OPL) ministry of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco on Monday, June 16, 2025.
The session will be led by Peter Panagis, a seasoned ministry leader and the head of Planning and Development at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Prescott, Arizona.
This interactive webinar is geared toward parish leaders launching new ministries or revitalizing existing ones. Attendees will explore case studies from ministry leaders, learn to assess ministry effectiveness using the “5P Ministry Effectiveness” framework (purpose, people, plan, presence, and performance) and gain practical tools for promoting ministries and encouraging parishioner involvement.
Panagis brings years of experience in ministry planning and volunteer leadership, with a focus on aligning parish priorities and implementing effective delivery processes. The event is open to all interested in strengthening parish life and engagement.
