UOJ-USA Announces New Orthodox Video Programming and Launch of Patreon Support

CHARLOTTE, NC — The Union of Orthodox Journalists of America (UOJ-USA) is pleased to announce plans to launch several new content offerings aimed at strengthening Orthodox Christian media and witness across North America.

Beginning this fall, UOJ-USA will roll out a suite of new programming including a Daily News Roundup, a Weekly News Recap Podcast, and a monthly video interview series featuring bishops, clergy, theologians, iconographers, and other Orthodox leaders. These in-depth conversations — available in video and audio only format — will explore the challenges and triumphs of the Church in today’s world and offer spiritual insight from respected voices within the Orthodox tradition.

In addition, UOJ-USA will begin releasing mini-documentaries on a bi-monthly or quarterly basis — with increasing frequency as operations expand. These high-quality videos will highlight the lives of holy figures in American Orthodoxy, showcase pilgrimages to sacred sites, and offer viewers a deeper understanding of the rich Orthodox presence on this continent and abroad.

To support these new efforts and keep Orthodox journalism independent and spiritually grounded, UOJ-USA has launched a Patreon page offering readers and viewers the opportunity to become monthly supporters.

In an age of misinformation and secular noise, we want to provide Orthodox Christians with media that is faithful, beautiful, and unafraid. But we can’t do this without the prayerful and financial support of our readers.

Supporters can choose from four tiers, starting at just $5/month. Higher tiers offer access to exclusive video content, behind-the-scenes updates, UOJ branded swag, and even complimentary access to future UOJ-USA events.

“We’re entering a new phase of our mission,” said UOJ-USA Editor-in-Chief, Benjamin Dixon. "Initially, we thought it would take 18 months to two years to reach this stage, but we're receiving such tremendous support that we're preparing to launch this fall. In an age of misinformation and secular noise, we want to provide Orthodox Christians with media that is faithful, beautiful, and unafraid. But we can’t do this without the prayerful and financial support of our readers.”

All free and subscriber-exclusive content will be available on YouTube, through UOJ-USA’s website and social platforms. Full details on programming will be released in the coming weeks.
