OCA Chancery Expands Clergy Wives' Ministry
WASHINGTON — The Orthodox Church in America (OCA) has announced a significant reorganization of its Clergy Wives Ministry, now under the Office of Pastoral Life, to bolster support for clergy families.
A dedicated director, an OCA clergy wife, will lead the ministry with a stipend, building on the foundation laid by the original committee.
Archpriest Nicholas Solak, Director of the Office of Pastoral Life, emphasized that the restructuring enhances past achievements, ensuring continued growth.
Established under Archbishop Alexei, the ministry fosters connection and care for clergy families.
Metropolitan Tikhon praised clergy wives for their vital, often unseen role, expressing gratitude for past efforts and optimism for the future.
