Conference to Celebrate 100 Years of ROCOR in Germany

MUNICH — From May 6-8, 2026, Munich will host an international scholarly conference celebrating the 100th anniversary of the German Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR).

Held at the historic Blutenburg Castle near St. Job of Pochaev Monastery, the event aims to reflect on the diocese’s historical journey, address modern challenges, and explore future prospects.

Over 20 scholars will present on ROCOR’s history and theology, with all ROCOR hierarchs and distinguished guests in attendance.

The conference, partnered with ROCOR Studies, will feature a jubilee exhibition and a choral concert by the ROCOR Church Singing School in Europe.

Presentations will be made in Russian and German, with English translations.

Limited to 120 in-person seats, registration is required, though online streaming via YouTube is available.

Donations are welcomed to support this milestone event. Those who are interested should register early to secure participation.
