AUSTIN — Dr. May Lau has surrendered her Texas medical license for giving harmful, irreversible "gender transition" drugs to Texas children.
According to a release from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's office, the AG entered into a Rule 11 agreement with Lau, which prevented her from practicing medicine and accepting patients while the case against her continued.
"The surrendering of her medical license permanently bars Lau from experimenting on children in Texas in the future," the release states. "The case against her for violating state law by giving illegal cross-sex hormones to kids to 'transition' them remains ongoing."
Paxton said that doctors who permanently hurt children through experimental drugs are "nothing more than disturbed left-wing activists who have no business being in the medical field." He added that Lau has done "untold damage to children," and that the surrendering of her state medical license is "a major victory" for Texas.
The legal case against Lau continues, with Paxton vowing to "not relent in holding anyone who tries to 'transition' kids accountable."
Previously, UOJ reported that a new analysis shows the percentage of students identifying outside male/female categories has halved since 2022.
