During a meeting with members of the World Greek Interparliamentary Association, the Primate of the Church of Greece, Archbishop Ieronymos, said that they are doing "special and important work".

Representatives of the Greek World Interparliamentary Association noted that they are "interested and concerned about issues of education, religion, geopolitics" and they are on the side of the EOC "in all matters".

In turn, Archbishop Ieronymos, in the context of the conversation on the recognition of the OCU, emphasized "good cooperation" with the American Ambassador to Greece and said that "we are one family with the Ecumenical Patriarchate".

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece stated that the Greek Orthodox Church is one family with the Patriarchate of Constantinople.
