Greek Abbot: LGBT Ideology Signals Antichrist's Approach
SIDIROKASTRO — Abbot Dositheos, leader of the Agia Skepi Monastery in the Metropolis of Sidirokastro, has declared that imposing LGBT ideology constitutes a "war against God" and marks society's descent into end-times prophecy.
In an exclusive interview with the UOJ, the elder asserted that modern culture has surpassed the depravity of Sodom and Gomorrah. "Today sin has become fashionable," he said, contrasting historical shame with contemporary celebration of homosexuality.
Fr. Dositheos pointed to educational systems teaching children that LGBT lifestyles represent progress, calling this indoctrination "spiritual degradation." He cited the Apostle Paul's warning that homosexuals will not inherit God's Kingdom.
The abbot sees these developments as fulfillment of Christ's prophecy about receiving "another"—the Antichrist—in place of truth. "The world is hastening toward the times foretold," he warned, urging repentance as humanity's only salvation.
Drawing parallels to Noah's era, he emphasized Orthodoxy's role in preserving spiritual roots. "If we do not return to God – woe to us," Dositheos concluded.
His statements follow earlier warnings about globalist efforts to impose a universal religion under integration's guise.
