Romanian Orthodox Episcopate Marks 45 Years Since Abp. Nathaniel’s Episcopal Ordination

NOV. 15, 2025 — The Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA) is commemorating the 45th anniversary of the episcopal ordination of His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel today. Archbishop Nathaniel, the ruling hierarch of the Episcopate, is being honored for more than four decades of devoted service marked by pastoral care, stability, and spiritual leadership.
In a message issued for the occasion, Bishop Andrei joined clergy and faithful across the Episcopate in extending congratulations and offering prayers of gratitude for Archbishop Nathaniel’s “unwavering faith, fatherly love, and steadfast dedication.” The statement asked that Christ grant the archbishop continued health, strength, and peace as he enters a new year of archpastoral ministry.
Previously, UOJ reported that bishops of the OCA's Romanian Episcopate celebrated the feast of St. Olga of Alaska at the Orthodox Monastery of the Transfiguration in Ellwood City, Pa.
