Met. Theodosiy of Cherkasy Hospitalized, In Critical Condition

KYIV — On November 28, 2025, the press service of the Cherkasy Eparchy reported that Met. Theodosiy was urgently hospitalized in critical condition.
The diagnosis has not been disclosed yet, according to a report from the UOJ's Ukraine bureau. However, unconfirmed sources claim the Metropolitan suffered a heart attack.
Met. Theodosiy is known for his staunch support for canonical Orthodoxy and his opposition to LGBT ideology.
All Orthodox Christians are asked to pray for the bishop's recovery.
That same day, Met. Arseniy of Sviatohirsk also fell ill, having been denied urgently needed healthcare while in detention.
