WAYMART, PA — The community of St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary gathered on Friday, December 5, to celebrate the feast of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker with an evening marked by fellowship and joyful celebration. Clergy, students, families, and friends came together to honor the beloved saint, whose example of generosity and compassion continues to inspire the Church.

A highlight of the evening was a special visit from St. Nicholas, portrayed by Abp. Michael, which brought great excitement to the children in attendance. Each child received a small icon, making the occasion especially memorable for the youngest members of the community.

The celebration provided an opportunity for the community to strengthen bonds and share in the festive spirit of the Nativity season. Organizers expressed sincere gratitude to all those who contributed their time and efforts to the planning and setup of the event, whose dedication ensured a warm and successful celebration for all.

Previously, UOJ reported that St. Tikhon's received a $920K Lilly Endowment Grant.
