The "Synod" of the UOC-KP, at the suggestion of Filaret Denisenko, appointed a "Patriarchal Exarch" to Greece. They became "Metropolitan" Auxentios Marines of Kherson and Volnovakha, according to the Greek edition Romfea.

According to the plan of the schismatics, the former representative of the Greek Church of the Old Calendarists, Auxentios Marines, will deal with Ukrainian immigrants in Greece.

On January 22, members of the "synod" of the UOC-KP changed Auxentios Marines’ title from "Chersonesus and Aegina" to "Chersonesus and Volnovakha".

Marines joined the Kyiv Patriarchate along with his diocese and flock in October 2021.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote the Kyiv Patriarchate created a "synod" of six members.
