Patriarch Porfirije: Serbian Church to help UOC and Metropolitan Onuphry

The Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Porfirije, said that the SOC will hand over material assistance to the UOC, reports the official website of the SOC.

“We decided to gather all the donations collected in churches at Holy Liturgies and beyond today and these days and send them to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and its Metropolitan Onuphry. This will be our modest contribution and expression of love, delivered to where it is needed,” the Patriarch said after the hierarchical Liturgy at the St. Sava Church in Vračar.

After the Divine Liturgy, His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia, along with other hierarchs, joined the action of voluntary donation at the point of the Serbian Blood Transfusion Institute in the parish house of the St. Sava Church.
