OCU raiders and armed people seize UOC temple in Mykhalcha
On April 10, 2022, at 17.09, raiders from the OCU with armed men seized the Holy Assumption church of the UOC in Mykhalcha village, the press service of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna diocese reports.
“It happened at 17:09. This is how defiantly, routinely, the ‘Christians’ of the OCU seized the Orthodox church of the UOC in the village of Mykhalcha. Hundreds of residents from Mykhalcha were left without their shrine. The temple is taken over. The National Police can be proud of themselves. What's next?” the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna diocese wrote.
On the published video, a resident of Mykhalcha is heard crying: “How can your heart not hurt? I'm a man, I’ve never cried! Do you hear our mother being beaten?”
As the UOJ previously reported, the UOC told how armed people were leading the seizure of the temple in Mykhalcha.
