During the summit of the Crimean platform, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk announced a number of regulations that will protect the eparchy of the OCU in the occupied peninsula, reports Ukrinform.
According to Stefanchuk, the OCU will receive support along with all those "suffering from Russian aggression".
In order to spare Dumenko's structure from persecution, the Verkhovna Rada passed a special resolution to protect the Crimean eparchy of the OCU.
Earlier, the "head" of the Russian authorities in Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, announced the preparation of a bill to ban the OCU on the peninsula.
As reported, the National Security and Defence Council promised back in January 2022 to protect the Crimean OCU from persecution by the occupants.
