Pope: the West has gone down the wrong path and is not a role model
Pope Francis, head of the RCC, has said in an interview with the Italian resource Corriere Della Sera that the West is not an example to follow as it has taken a false path.
Speaking about the West's demographic problems, the pontiff called it the biggest graveyard of humanity and criticized Brussels' migration policy.
"We need people in Spain, in Italy. <...> Why is the West not pursuing a policy of integrating migrants?" Pope Francis added.
He also noted that the West is now "not at the highest level" and therefore cannot help other nations.
As earlier reported, the Pope blessed arms supplies to Ukraine.
