Olena Zelenska meets with Patriarch Bartholomew in Phanar
Patriarch Bartholomew met with the first lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska. This is reported by ec-patr.org.
Zelenska arrived at the Phanar accompanied by the Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga, Ukrainian Ambassador to Ankara Vasyl Bodnar, Consul General in the city Roman Nedilsky and other officials.
During the meeting, Patriarch Bartholomew once again expressed the support of the Ecumenical Patriarchate to the Ukrainian people, who are experiencing the hardships of war and courageously and firmly defending the territorial integrity of their homeland, and wished that the war would end as quickly as possible and peace return to Ukraine.
Zelenska thanked Patriarch Bartholomew for his concern and support of the people of Ukraine.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Epifaniy Dumenko and Petro Poroshenko "discussed traitors in cassocks".
